With the onset of the hunting season I wanted to pass on some information on Zoonotic diseases (diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans). According to a fact sheet from the American Veterinary Medical Association, "Hunters can be exposed to infectious diseases not only from infected animals, but also via insect vectors and contaminated soil and water."
